Mini-Stick Lacrosse is back for its 7th year right here on the GA fields! This popular program engages the girls in the game of lacrosse with an emphasis on fun. Whether you've been playing for 3 years or 3 days your daughter will love her time at mini-stick.

Playing with shorter, lighter shafts and more forgiving pockets gives the girls a chance to enjoy more success and allows us to focus on skills that are transferable to the girls’ game in a few years.

Dates - Saturdays starting April 4, 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16

Time - 9:30-11am

Cost - $275

Notes on equipment and gear:

*The girls DO NOT need goggles or mouth guards.

Sticks: If you have a stick that your daughter is comfortable with, please bring it. If you need to purchase a stick, we recommend the Under Armour Futures stick, available at Bruce Park Sports and Lacrosse Unlimited. These sticks are a little shorter and lighter than regular sticks. Girls in K-1 should have the stick cut down a few inches. Both stores will do that for you.  We will have several sticks on hand to borrow if you are unsure what to buy, but please know, with lacrosse season upon us, that supplies are limited in the stores.

Wear: Sneakers and athletic wear appropriate for the weather. Layers are best. We will provide a pinnie the first week, which should be worn every week. If any former Comet players have pinnies from last year we encourage you to reuse them. Hats and gloves are recommended if it's cold!

Also: A full water bottle with your daughter's name on it, and a backpack or bag that she can put her discarded layers in.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need a US Lacrosse number in order to participate in all Comet programs.  You can add it during the transaction, or you can obtain it directly from
